"Phra Buddha Sothon" or what is commonly called Luang Pho Sothon. According to history, it is said that it was enshrined at Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan, Mueang District, Chachoengsao Province, since around 1770. There is a legend showing Buddha. A sacred power that has been passed down from generation to generation, was originally enshrined in the northern region. Later, the country was in an uproar, so a miracle was performed floating down along with three brothers. The elder Buddha statue was large and floated all the way to the Mae Klong River. Fishermen brought it and enshrined it at Ban Laem Temple. Samut Songkhram Province and is known as “Luang Pho Ban Laem”, a small Buddha image floating into the Bang Phli Canal, is Luang Pho To, Bang Phli Yai Temple. Samut Prakan Province As for the central Buddha statue, it floats towards the Bang Pakong River. When arriving at the area in front of Wat Hong Many villagers helped to lift it but were unable to get it out of the water. Until there was a teacher who performed a sacrifice ceremony. and used a holy thread to wrap his hand and successfully brought him out of the water. Wat Hong was later renamed Wat Sothon. and named this sacred Buddha image after the name of the temple. "Luang Pho Sothon"
